Support — Egglet

Egglet helps you tell the people you trust how you feel and what you need - gently, privately, in the moments when words are hardest.

If you need a hand with the app, you are in the right place.

Contact us

Email tom@millwork.studio and we will get back to you. When you write, it helps to include:

  • your iOS version (Settings > General > About > Software Version),
  • your device model (for example, iPhone 15),
  • and a short description of what happened.

Common questions

Do I need an account to use Egglet?

No. Egglet has no accounts, no sign-in, and no subscription. It works entirely on your device, and it does not need an internet connection to use its core features.

Where is my data stored?

Everything you enter stays on your device. Egglet does not send your check-ins, reflections, reminders, or people list anywhere. See our privacy policy for the full detail.

My reminders are not appearing

Reminders are optional and use iOS notifications. If they are not showing:

  1. Open iOS Settings > Notifications > Egglet and make sure notifications are allowed.
  2. Check that you have turned reminders on inside Egglet and chosen a time.
  3. Make sure Focus or Do Not Disturb is not silencing them.

How do I add someone to my people?

You can type a name in, or add someone using the standard iOS contact picker. When you use the picker, Egglet only receives the name you select. It does not read the rest of your address book, and it does not store phone numbers or email addresses.

How do messages get sent?

When you send from Egglet, it goes out as an ordinary text through your device, only to the person you choose. Egglet does not route your messages through any server, and it keeps no copy.

How do I export or back up my journal?

You can export your own content using the standard iOS share options inside the app. This only happens when you choose to do it, and it goes wherever you send it.

How do I delete my data?

You can remove individual entries inside the app. To remove everything, delete Egglet from your device - its on-device data is removed with it.

In a crisis

Egglet is not therapy, medical care, crisis intervention, or an emergency service, and it is not monitored by anyone. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services. The helpline resources shown in the app are informational only, and they do not replace your people.

Privacy

For how Egglet handles your information, see the privacy policy.
